1990s Music History in Lamby's Words

What Happened in the 1990s?

The 1990s ACTUALLY began just before Bill Clinton was elected president. Just before Al Gore gave birth to the Internet, 1980s music went to Seattle and met the grunge music fairy. That year was 1991, and all the hair bands died that day. 1990s music had a lot of different artists blending sounds from other kinds of music and everyone had a place and stuff to sing about. Rap and hip hop was too dangerous for just anyone to make. That music killed people. The Spice Girls made everybody feel funny when they gave birth to boy bands dancing too much for managers who liked to steal their money. Dad says alternative rock got cool until the new millenium started and then it got produced so much the art was sucked out of it. All in all, 1990s music was good. Dad says that it was mostly spreading the happy. But music in the 2000s came and that's when spreading the cranky started.
