Lamby's Intro to Life Lessons

LambyBefore we talk about what wisdoms there are to think about, this Lamb thought about lessons of life to make the world a better, happier place. That's my Dream, all over the place. For Lambs and kids, boys and girls, babies, adults, brown ones and blue ones and green ones and pink ones and red ones and yellow ones. Even them fuzzy ones with teeth. Fuzzy ones like the one who ate my eye.

Love & Fleece on Earth Lessons

  1. Run into whatever scares you. Really. Running away from all the things that are scary will make you a scaredy Lamb. .
  2. Do one thing for someone every day, whether you feel like it or not. Even when you get the blues. Even if it's just a hug or a snuggle that ends in accidental pooting.
  3. Always eat your vegetables. It's hard when there's ice cream around, but you'll get in trouble in your bottom place when you're a grown up if you don't. And by trouble, this Lamb means poo trouble, which is a very bad kind of trouble to have. Period.
  4. Wear your heart on your sleeve. Or in your eye.
  5. It's ok to be a Little Lamb sometimes. You know, the kind where all you want to do is crawl into a lap and sleep. Even the boy Lambs.
  6. It's OK to be mad if you hit your hand with a hammer or if someone breaks your heart. Or steals your oatmeal cookie. You have to stop after a while because that's spreading the cranky, not the happy.
  7. Sometimes, you just got to let. It. Go.
  8. Always do your best, that's what I always say.
  9. Be careful how you use them words in your mouth. Make sure those words are curvy and smooth and easy to say. Unless you hit your hand with a hammer.
  10. Ask for help if you need help. I know I do. I am just a little Lamb.
  11. Sometimes it's good to yell, "I want some Lambpants!"
  12. Don't lie. Ever. Please don't. Lambs don't lie.
  13. Believe in magic.
  14. Always, always, always give lots of hugs and kisses.

"Cuffs Make the Pants"

If you're gonna get brand new pants, better ask for ones with cuffs. Sometimes, cuffs make the pants—that’s what I always say.
