"Yes, No Goodbyes"
an original song by D. Byron Patterson
performed by Lamby
Where was I running off to?
Don't know, I can't remember
Exactly why I even came this way
It's like a dream and it seemed
The best way to get lost in finding
Reasons why I wasted yesterday
Now I'm just lying here
Busting rainclouds in the sky
And you're right beside me smiling
And we're just watching the world go by
I was wondering if you
would be stopping by
Come and go as you please,
But come and go as you are
You can wish in a well
Or
make a wish on a star
Say hello to never being alone
Yes, no goodbyes
Yes, no goodbyes
Sometimes the years can make you
Feel like you're way too heavy
To take a leap of faith from way up high
Look out below, just go
And don't get hung up on the falling
It takes a lot of love to learn how to fly
It's a beautiful world,
can you imagine,
Just close your eyes
So many different ways to see
And all the magic you need is inside
I was wondering if you would be stopping by
Come and go as you please,
But come and go as you are
You can wish in a well
Or make a wish on a star
Say hello to never being alone
Yes, no goodbyes
Yes, no goodbyes
Now I'm just lying here
Busting rainclouds in the sky
And you're right beside me smiling
And we're just watching the world go by
I was wondering if you would be stopping by
Come and go as you please,
But come and go as you are
You can wish in a well
Or make a wish on a star
Say hello to never being alone
Yes, no goodbyes
Yes, no goodbyes

"Jingle Donkey"
an original song poem by D. Byron Patterson
performed by Lamby
Lambs are cool and always rule.
Rule and cool, and cool and rule.
It's time for turkey, not for school
And never in your swimming pool.
After turkey, here comes Yule,
Mmy silly jingle donkey mule.
He likes to fool you with his tricks.
Best watch out for when he kicks.
You just might end up in the sticks.
You'll fly and then you'll drop like bricks.
Yule eats carrots, eggs and clams.
For Solstice he loves tofu hams
With lots of apple peachy jams.
His only passengers are Lambs.
Lambs are cool and always rule.
Vestibule, it rhymes with ghoul
And gruel and spool and duel and tool.
Not pudding though.
I bet Jonesy thinks
they rhyme perfectly well. Then again, falling on your head after
each take-off would make lots of weird words sound the same.
I sure love my dragon. He's a very smiley and sweet dragon, kinda
like a big dumb scaly red puppy with broken wings and fire breath
that smells like burned snausages and cabbage. I do wish he wouldn't
keep trying to fly so much. For Jonesy, I bet pudding always
rhymes with orange.

"My Jonesy"
If at first you don't
succeed... Trying again is what you got to do if you want something
for your heart. Your heart likes to make you make sure that you
really want something, and working very hard for that something
makes it special. But I still have to sing something special
to cheer up my very sad dragon, who doesn't understand why he
can't fly - neither do we, but Snout is researching on the Internet
whenever Dad is out of the room.
an original song by D. Byron Patterson
performed by Lamby
Have I ever told you about my Jonesy?
You would love him, yeah, just take it from me
He's my smiling, never frowning, jumpy happy
Chinese Puppy Dragon Jonesy
He's bad at flying, but falling comes real easy...
So we tell him...
Jonesy, we're so glad we got you.
We don't ever want to be without you.
Puppy dragon, how we love you so
Yeah, we won't let you go,
That's why we want to tell you.
The hardest working dreamy flyer,
Wants so bad to soar up high - that's Jonesy.
Gets right back up whenever he falls down
He might be simple, yeah,
but he can always make you laugh - my Jonesy
Never a worry ever crosses his mind
We love that you don't care
That you should stop your daily flying affair
We close our eyes and hope or sometimes we stare
Depends on if you're on the dresser
Or you're jumping off the chair
Sweet Jonesy, we love you
You know we're always thinking of you
We'll always be there every time you fall
Oh Jonesy, we love you
And know that we're just so proud of you
Sweet Jonesy - you are family, Jonesy
Jonesy, one thing is certain
A day will come when you won't feel no hurtin'
We'll have to open up the heavy curtain
Up goes the slidy window pane
As we clap and shout your name
(We'll say)
Hey Jonesy, we love you
Believe me, we're always thinking of you
We'll be right here waiting just in case you fall
Sweet Jonesy, we love you
Every single day we're just so proud of you
We are family, Jonesy

"Lambpants Blues"
an original song by D. Byron Patterson
performed by Lamby
My Daddy done left me
Yeah, Mama made me cry
Didn't like my tail wag
Or the big cap in my eye
I got the blues
The Lambpants Blues
Mama won't let me say, “I Do!”
And Daddy won’t let me sneeze
But I have a say,
My cuffs are blue
You better stand clear, please!
I got the blues
The Lambpants Blues

"Love & Fleece"
an original song by D. Byron Patterson
performed by Lamby
It was lonely – oh, so
very –
Just waiting at the Kash-n-Karry
In the Hallmark aisle for a chance
To have my say
I was feeling cold and clammy
Could’ve been a sad day for this Lamby
On an early morning
Of my very happy birthy day
But a man said, “Hey,
little fella!”
He was singing a capella,
“Do you believe,” he said,
“they put a Lamb on the moon?”
My soul is magic -- do you believe
in Lamby?
Love & Fleece? Yes, please! I do!
My soul is Magic -- do you believe in Lamby?
Love & Fleece? Yes, please! I do!
I may be different, not
the same
Sometimes people call me bad names
Because Lambs wearing pants was never supposed to be
So, stand clear, kid – here comes Lamby
And I’ll spread Love & Fleece
Bbecause it is my destiny
A
magic eye cap helps me see
Spread the happy, not the cranky, please
It’s Fleece on Earth, yeah
All for you and me
My soul is magic -- do you believe in Lamby?
Love & Fleece? Yes, please! I do!
My soul is Magic -- do you believe in Lamby?
Love & Fleece? Yes, please! I do!
My soul is Magic -- do you believe in Lamby?
Love & Fleece? Yes, please! I do!
